The trip to Lago Central was a first for us on 2 accounts. Not only was it the first team to come to visit us, but it was Lucas’ first river trip! At the ripe old age of 12 1/2 months, Lucas braved the Arapiuns River, an Amazon River tributary, and embarked on the first of many adventures. I was a bit nervous as to how it would all go, but praise the Lord it was a fantastic trip. He napped well (so thankful for my Baby Wise baby!), ate well, was in good spirits and loved by all. Thank you for all who prayed for us and continue to pray for us as a family serving the Lord in the Amazon.
